Crown Box Scraper, 3/8 in. is expertly crafted to create flat bottoms and precise 90-degree angles on the inside base of cylindrical boxes and lids. This versatile tool features a skew angled tip that efficiently produces the dovetail recess or undercut needed on the bottom bowls and platters, ensuring a secure grip with scroll chuck jaws. The 3/8" (10mm) diameter blade is made from durable M2 High Speed Steel (HSS) and is hardened to a Rockwell hardness of 62-64, delivering excellent performance and longevity. Measuring approximately 15 inches in overall length, it includes an 8-1/2 inch long stained Beech handle for comfortable use. Proudly made in Sheffield, England. Model Number: 269AW
