Sorby Standard Parting Tool Blade, 1/4 in. is designed for woodturners who prefer to craft their own turning tool handles or use it with Robert Sorby Sovereign System handles. This blade is for parting off finished work from waste material, featuring flat parallel sides that provide a rigid and well-balanced tool. It is also i for fine detailing of beads and fillets. The scraper is tanged at one end and measures approximately 8-3/8 inches in overall length. Made from high-speed steel (HSS), the blade is 1/4 inch thick, ensuring durability and precision. For use with the Sovereign System, a tang collet adapter (85406) is required. Crafted in England, this tool combines quality and functionality for professional and hobbyist turners alike.
