It is important to note that this primer is not compatible with top coats containing strong solvents, such as automotive finishes. The white primer excellent coverage, approximately 18 to 25 square feet per can, and dries to the touch within 2 to 4 hours. It becomes handleable in 5 to 9 hours and can be recoated after 24 hours. For results, thin with no more than half a pint of paint thinner per gallon and clean tools with paint thinner or mineral spirits.
